Local college programming expands

Monumental Sports Network announced a 39-game fall college sports schedule featuring local NCAA football, women’s soccer and volleyball, alongside HBCU GO football programming.

The schedule begins Aug. 27 with Towson versus Maine in football. The network said it will also carry a George Washington-Georgetown men’s basketball exhibition in October.

Schools and distribution

The announcement cites partnerships with George Washington, Hampton, Towson and Richmond, plus 13 taped HBCU football games. The network said the slate is available through regional television providers and its streaming service.

The release concerns the broadcast schedule, which may be subject to later changes. The full college basketball schedule is expected later in the fall.
