Young Thug Released from Jail After Plea Deal in RICO Case

Rapper Young Thug, legally known as Jeffery Williams, has been released from jail following a plea agreement in his RICO case. On October 31, 2024, Williams pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including drug and firearm offenses, and no contest to racketeering conspiracy and leading a criminal street gang. He received a 40-year sentence, with five years commuted to time served and 15 years on probation.
